ST. LOUIS — Christopher Bell and Tyler Courtney topped a pair of star-studded midget features during Friday night’s VP Gateway Dirt Nationals inside The Dome at America’s Center.
Driving the familiar Keith Kunz Motorsports No. 21, Bell held off Zach Daum to win the opening main event, picking off where he left off last week when he won the Turkey Night Grand Prix for the second consecutive year.
Bell beat Zach Daum to the checkered flag as the midgets joined the program during the Gateway Dirt Nationals for the first time. Logan Seavey, Shane Golobic and Tucker Klaasmeyer rounded out the top five.
